HISTORY
I Once Was The Exile is an awesome Metal Band from the small town of Blytheville, AR.The band consists of the following members: Kendrick Done (lead singer), Peyton Snyder (guitar), Jacey Sneed (Lead Guitar), Christian Swift (on keyboard/M.C.), Josh Pike (on bass), and Tyler Swanson ( on drums)
Despite their ability to wear great smiles through any situation, and make awesome songs, the members have been through a lot during their childhood, and some lives were worse than others, but they overcame the obstacles & like telling their stories through the music they play. Many people can relate to the various situations in their songs that's why they are one of the best bands on this side of the planet.
The band started when one day Kendrick, contacted Peyton and asked if he wanted to start a band. They became friends, and the band, members, sound, and name evolved from there.
INFLUENCES
The style, sound, and etc are influenced by bands such as Korn, Linkin Park, Slipknot, Evanescence, Killswitch Engage, System Of A Down, TOOL, Metallica, P.O.D, and much more. Also we gather ideas from classic music styles from all around the world.
